Wase ,Plateau South  Seat Adjourns To 6th September  & Rukuba/Irigwe State Constituency For Adopted

The Plateau National Assembly election Tribunal has been adjourned to the 6th Day of September ,2023 for adoption of final written addresses in a suit filed by Ibrahim Bawa Kanje against Idris Ahmed Maje .

The Second Panel of the National Sate Houses of Assembly Election Tribunal have concluded their final written addresses before the Chairman of three man committee led by Honourable  Justice Mohammed Tukur .

Also matters came up for continuation of hearing ,Simon Bako Lalong Vs Napoleon Bali ,Senate Plateau south ,Ibrahim Bawa Kanje Vs Idris Ahmed Maje for Wase Federal constituency

The petitioned filed by Senior Advocate of Nigeria ,SAN,  Ibrahim Bawa Kanje of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) challenging the declaration of the Former Deputy Rt.Hon. Idris Ahmed Maje Wase of Wase Federal Constituency ,Plateau State .

The PDP House Representative Candidate ,Kanje Bawa ,SAN, approached the trial tribunal to challenged the over voting ,irregularities ,mutilation of Wase results .

Since 2003 ,Hon .Ahmed Wase have been the member representing the constituency .

Meanwhile ,the Rukuba /Irigwe state constituency also adopted written addresses during the proceedings to pave ways for the judgment .

Hon .Eli Bako of the All Progressives Congress ,APC ,vs Ibrahim Ankala of the Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, the winner  of 10th assembly was equally reserved for judgment .

The trial tribunal was allotted 180 days to complete their assignment for the following seats the State House ,Federal House Representatives ,Senate and governorship which at least no fewer than 33 petitions and two governorship petition from New Nigeria Peoples Party ,NNPP, between Dr Alfred Dabwan challenging Hon .Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of the PDP .

However ,the APC candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda also brought his petition to challenged Mutfwang on three grounds of party structure ,non compliance to court order ,over voting ,irregularities ,mutilation of results ,during the 25th Day of February ,2023 .

The general elections was conducted in two separate dates ,the presidential ,Senatorial districts ,Federal Houses of Representatives on the 25th Day of February and governorship ,State Houses of Assembly was on the 18th March ,2023 .

The elections tribunal witnessed influx of legal luminaries across the country seeking the order of the trial tribunal to dispensed justice to their clients were issues are joined during the legal battle .

This medium gathered the following experienced from the Senior advocates of Nigeria ( SAN) during proceedings that witness the present of party men and women ,including supporters and political jesters that overrun the court premises either to witnessed valid argument by individual counsels .

Its was revealed that the major area of the concerned was that PDP didn’t have structures from the state down LGs and wards level respectively but political pundits allot fear that APC didn’t conduct credible congress yet is eyeing the structure of the opposition party which the court said they’re mired interloper using busy body to watch another party problems .

In all the three senatorial districts of Plateau State it has been full of political blackmailed ,ethnic agenda ,internal wrangling that bedeviled the state since the returned of democracy in 1999 .

Besides ,the electioneering campaigns before and after the state voters are still counting their losses because the impact of democracy is yet to be extended to the grassroots people the electorate living them to mimics with lamentation fighting each others .

The political rallies when these pundits climbed the podium they wage war against poverty ,unity of oneness revamping of moribund industries but once  they’re sworn in they speak  difference mission and languages of the rich wealthy clubs cities high class .

Almost 30 years down memory lane ,our democracy can’t deliver full dividends of democracy  to the poor electorate they rather behave like king  and Queen on good at acting a moving drama .
