Useni, Lalong Cannot Match Me, I Will Defeat Both In 2019-Miri

Yakubu Ventim

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, Governorship candidate in Plateau State for the 2019 general election, has said he has what it takes to Plateau State to a height of Eldorado. Speaking in a chat with this medium, he said; “If we are truly calling ourselves Christians or Muslims in Plateau state we should not take bribe, we don’t need to take bribe because we are not corrupt.”

Speaking further he said; “in 1993 the civil servants rigged elections in favour of Tapgun to bring in him in as Governor and now we see Governor Simon Bako Lalong has misused what was given to him when the Plateau People overwhelmingly came together not knowing the APC is not then the ruling party .We rebelled and brought Lalong, money did not play a role then.

However,Dr Godfrey Miri said the return of democracy in Plateau is a curse as the people Plateau has allowed less than 100 people to manipulate them, “we know who these people are,  they are sycophants that contributed to bringing Dariye , and the same political detractors are now moving in to bring Lt General Jeremiah Timbut Useni.

The former Governor Jonah Jang has asked for forgiveness but General Useni refused to do so after calling the Arewa people to disregard the agitation for the middle Belt struggle. I told you I don’t have money to run for the office of the executive Governor but the youth came to me and continued to burden me to lead them to the promise land.

Our is a not politics but a  movement,  so we needed a platform to actualize this vision ,however, we have agreed to push  aside APC and PDP aside and bring in Jos back to its lost glory where everyone will not be judge by his or her tribe or religion just to effect change.

Senator Jonah Jang has spent over 7 billion naira to install GNS Pwajok but money politics was not successful, we see Jeremiah Useni throwing his money to buy delegates that rubbish and nonsense would not work for them in 2019.

Miri stressed that Plateau’s religious leaders have completely forgotten their calling in search of worldly and materials things, “so I urge politicians to stop manipulating poor vulnerable people.

He lamented that the Jos International Brewery cannot be revamped back as claimed by Governor Simon Lalong, because its require N27 billion to install new equipments or except this can be turned into cottage brewery not the JIB of yesterday.

According to him, Jeremiah Useni was so very powerful during the late Sani Abacha regime but he has no single projects of his own here to reflect his name on the Plateau, Useni left primary school in form 3 and he was not so intelligence that was the reason they pushed him to Nigeria Army.

Useni did not give any empowerment to salvage the growing population of Plateau indigenes while serving as the FCT minister, so I challenge him to point at anyone he helped today in Government, Dr Miri said.
