US To Unlock Nasarawa Potentials- Al-Makura

In a concerted effort to create job opportunity in Nasarawa state, Governor Umaru Tanko  Al-Makura has assured unemployed youths in the state of better days ahead, He stated this while unveiling the importance of his visit to the United State of America.

Al-Makura re-emphazised that the collaboration with U S Government was meant to exploit the potentials of the state left unexploited, He obliged that U.S would partner Nasarawa state in the area of solid mineral and disease control.

He affirmed that the tapping of solid mineral in the state would Job and wealth creation , He stated this while fielding questions from Journalist on the benefit of the visit to the US, He said the visit would be translated to job and wealth creation.

Speaking on the exploration of the abandoned solid mineral deposit, Al-Makura  reiterated that only the Federal Government has the exclusive right to tap solid mineral  not the state ,Adding that the state would benefit from the 13% of solid mineral revenue accrued to solid mineral states.

The Governor further affirmed that the Department of Disease Control from the United State would support the state in combating the prevalence of HIV/AIDS; He said US would also address the unabated power blackout in the state.
