Unusual Sunday In Plateau As Looters Envelop Streets, Breaks Into Ex-House Of Reps Speaker, Dogara’s House, Treks In Search For Store Houses

Thousands of Plateau Youths who are desperate and ready to loot are on the major streets of Jos North and Jos South Local Government Areas vandalizing shops, business areas including the resident of the former Speaker House of Reps, Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara at Lamingo road.

The looters are trekking about 90 to 100 km in search storehouses and they even barricade main road looking for the available looting spree.

It was described as black Sunday when a group of looters moved around to scavenge for where they received information on either any of the stored houses in town.

The youths, who envelop the streets throwing stones, bashing cars, and destroying shops carting away valuable running into millions of naira.

It was gathered by our medium that at about 5 am to 7 am this morning the youth have concluded vandalizing Plateau Agriculture Development Project, PADP, barricading routes to begin looting.

It was authoritatively confirmed that the Ex-Nigerian House of Reps Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s house in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

The house located near Jos University Teaching Hospital was broken into by looters at about 9am Nigerian time.

“They broke into the house, attacked everyone including Dogara’s brother, and are currently moving anything they see storehouse.

The invaders are said to be moving in tricycles, furniture, electronics, and other valuables out of the house.

Police personnel was all over the streets trying to control the mobs but they are shouting with heavy-armed weapons terrorizing motorists including innocent people were not spared by the angry looters.

However, the Plateau Police Command deployed has heavy-armed personnel to quell the streets looters moving in which the situation seems to be beyond control.
