Unknown Gunmen Attacks Ex-Nigeria Minister Sango Residence, Killed One, Two Others Sustained Various Degrees of Injuries
At least no fewer than one security personnel was killed and two injured by a group of suspected armed Men who invaded the residence of the former Minister of sports and Youth development in Nigeria, and Hon Damishi Sango, the attackers killed the police personnel posted on duty including two security guards who sustained various degrees of injuries from gunshots.
The attackers who stormed the residence of the Ex-Minister of Sports and Youth development in Danwal, Ganawuri after Vom, in Riyom Local Government Area around 9:00 pm on Wednesday, it was gathered that the attackers came to the residence of Ata’a Sango yesterday 31st March at about 9.45 pm with heavy weapons shooting sporadically for several hours before gaining entrance into the compound.
An eyewitness account told journalists that, they lost one of the policemen, including their riffles was taken away by the bandits.
It was revealed that one of the security details and Jethro are in stable conditions receiving medical attention at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH.
Information reaching this medium indicates that at about 4.30 am, the two victims regained consciousness.
According to reports, two security details and a boy were shot during the attack, two of his security details were shot alongside a boy in the house by name Jethro.
