UIYM Constitutes Maiden Exco’s As Comr.Nwaiwu Emerges Pioneer Mayor

As part of re-directing the mindsets of the timing Nigerian youths positively most especially in Imo State, one of the apex youth organisations in the state ably known as ” United Imo Youth Movement,UIYM,was on last Saturday, April 27th 2019,successfully constituted and elected members of the Executives who would pilot the affairs of the movement for period of one (1) year tenure.

 

Some of the vibrant, reliable and responsible youths who were duly elected to serve as pioneer executive members (17 Man-Expanded Excos) of UIYM includes:” Comr.Chinonso Nkemgaemedi Nwaiwu,as the Pioneer Mayor,Comr.Cyrilgentle Okorocha,as the Secretary,Comr.Vivian Uzor,as the Assistant Secretary,Comr.Ikenna Onuoha,as the Financial Secretary,Amb.Tochi Ogbonna,as the Treasurer,and Hon.Comr.Micheal Ihuoma,as the Special Duties,others are: Comr.Favour Ijioma,as Director of Welfare,Comr.Chima Ekezie,as the Director of Administrations,Comr.Paschal Opara,as the Publicity Secretary,Comr.Pedro Anyanwu,as the Publicity Secretary II,Comr.Nkeiru Aririeri P.,as the Owerri Zonal Coordinator,Comr.Stephennie Michaels,as the Orlu Zonal Coordinator,Comr.Jonathan Okafor,as the Provost I,where as Comr.Ann Emmanuel,emerged as Provost II. Others Excos are:Comr.Paddy Chikezie Obi,as the Social Secretary,Comr.Chioma Ebomuche,as the Assistant Ladies Coordinator,and Comr.Izuchukwu Uzoma,as the Provost III”.

 

Speaking,the UIYM Electoral Committee Chairman,Comr.Micheal Ihuoma,expressed satisfaction for the successful election exercise of the body,which according to him,was free,fair,transparent and credible.

 

Comr.Ihuoma,commended all the members of the movement both those active and inactive for their collective support towards the successful maiden polls.

 

He therefore called for the general cooperation of the members of UIYM,so as the achieve huge success,progress,breakthrough and development of the association.

 

Comr.Ihuoma,however assured the public and the govt.that the one year tenure given them as mandate shall be fruitful.

 

In his acceptance speech,the newly elected Pioneer Mayor of UIYM,Comr.Nonso Nkem Nwaiwu,expressed delight to be elected as the pioneer leader of the movement,even as he thanked God for making the whole electioneering exercise a very huge success.

 

The UIYM Mayor,Comr.Nwaiwu,said ” UIYM under his watch would definitely re-direct and re-position the mindsets of Imo youths positively. We are poised to offer quality leadership were all Imo youths would fill the dividend of democracy. My leadership must put Imo youths on the right track as it concerns the leadership and good governance in Imo State. As a youth forum,we are ensure that all the youths in the state are carried along and positively accommodated”.

 

The Mayor of UIYM clearly stated that he would fight for the general welfare and prosperity of the Imo youths.

 

Comr.Nwaiwu,finally dedicated his victory as the Mayor of UIYM to all his loved ones and all the Imo youths especially members of his association,even as he promised to deliver and never to disappoint the youths.
