The twelve years rule of the People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa state has been described as a total mirage, said Hon.Tanko Tunga of the All Progressives Congress.
Tunga, Lawmaker representing Awe north constituency in the Assembly buttressed that the twelve years was a sham especially in the execution of projects that has direct bearing on the lives of the citizenry.

“Twelve years under the PDP in Nasarawa state was a wasted years of injustice and maladministration while comparing the twelve years of PDP and Three years of APC reign”. Adding that Nasarawa under Al-Makura experienced total transformation.
“The state was below sea level before Umaru Tanko Al-Makura activate the state, The state capital was a glorified Local Government headquarter  lacking all basic needs of livelihood but today the people of Nasarawa state are the best of judge to give testimony of the developmental stride of the chief executive.
The lawmaker listed some of the projects to includes the execution of township road network in the state capital extended to Local Government headquaters,He also applauded the state Governor for  the  establishment  and rehabilitation of more schools in the state.
The Governor introduce free primary and secondary education, payment of scholarship to 18,678,”The Governor started from the scratch  because nothing was on ground when he takes over the helms of affairs of the state in 2011,Everything was at a sorry  state including the civil service been the engine room of Government businesses.
The lawmaker while reacting on the called by his colleague  for military take over describing the caller has been vindictive and whimsical politician,”He should vacate office instead of inviting soldier to take over from civilian administration, said Honorable Tanko Tunga.
While commenting on the APC winning Nasarawa ahead of 2015 general election, The Member representing Awe North said hopes are high for the return of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
