Turakin Keana Lauds FG For Establishing FCE (Technical) Keana

The Turakin Keana, Prince Mark Elayo has applauded the Federal Government for establishing the Federal College of Education (Technical) Keana, Nasarawa State.

Elayo who made the commendation in a statement during the visit of the minister of education, prof. Mamman Tahir was in Keana to hand over the institution to the Nasarawa State Government on Thursday.

Prince Elayo also appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule’s developmental strides in the State.

While welcoming the education minister to Keana, Prince Elayo also averred that the people would jealously guard the facilities against vandalization.

Saying that the citing of the institution is a sign of a good thing coming to Keana, Nasarawa South Senatorial district, Nasarawa State as a whole.

He called on the people of the community to accord the institution their unalloyed support for the long-term project.

“More people of Keana will gain employment, advancement in education, landlords would be at the vantage position, there will be stable power and water supply ” he added.

Prince Elayo said the institution is a rare opportunity for the locality, He however commended the Member Federal House of Representatives Representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal constituency, Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba.

The Minister of Education on his part lauded the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for the donation of facilities to the Federal Government institution.

The Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule while speaking thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Nasarawa State.

The State Governor was ably represented by his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe said the handing over of the College will open a new vista in the area of technical education.

He gave the assurance that the State Government will accord impetus to the security of lives and valuables in the property.
