Tinubu’s Victory At Supreme Court, A Victory For Democracy–CNNC, National Youth Leader, Kadzai

The National Youth Leader, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christians (CNNC), Engr. Daniel Kadzai has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court ruling on the Presidential election verdict.

Basking in the euphoria of the victory of Tinubu at the court, the former National President of, the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), in a statement he signed said the ruling is a” victory for Nigeria’s constitutional democracy and the rule of law”.

He said Nigeria’s democracy has been further strengthened by the faithful adherence of all parties to the electoral process and their reliance on the courts in the event of a dispute.

“Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, on the judicial affirmation of the Supreme Court victory.

“This ruling is a great victory for Nigeria’s constitutional democracy and its rule of law. The practice of democracy in our nation has been further strengthened by the fact that all parties faithfully followed the electoral process according to the law and relied on our courts in the event of dispute”, the statement reads.

Recall that on Thursday, 26th October 2023, the Supreme Court upheld President Tinubu’s Victory in the February 25th presidential election, dismissing Atiku Abubakar’s appeal against Tinubu’s election.

In the verdict delivered, the court ruled that the appeal filed by Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lacked merit.

Atiku had sought to overturn the judgment of the presidential election petition tribunal which affirmed Tinubu’s election as president.
