There Is Invasion Of Strange Faces In Osun Ahead Of August 9 Guber Election Says PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party in statement yesterday said that there has been influx of strange faces into Osun State ahead of the August 9 governorship election in the state.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary of the Party, Prof. Wale Oladipo, the party accused the All Progressives Congress of being the mastermind of the alleged influx of the strange faces into the state.
He said; “I’m using this opportunity to alert the security forces in Osun State to be on the red alert over the influx of strange faces into everywhere in Osun State ahead of the governorship election in the state.
“The main opposition, which is the APC, is believed to be behind this. We don’t want violence anywhere in the state before, during and after the election and this is why we are shouting out now for the security forces to be at alert and bring them to order(sic) before they will set the state ablaze.
“Intelligence reports reaching us indicate that based on the experience they had in Ekiti State, they have resorted to another tactics.”
Oladipo advised the electorate in Osun and other parts of the country not to sell their voter card for any price.
He also urged parents and guardians to educate their children and wards on the need not to be used as thugs or to cause political violence in the state in order not to incur the wrath of the law.
