The Untold Story Of How Tractor Got Missing Under A Former Deputy Director In Doma LG

The Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa, Arc. Ahmed Sarki Usman has confided to Universal Reporters that is aware of the disappearance of a tractor belonging to the Council by a Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture.

The Council Chairman said he was aware of the whole heinous process and diversion of the tractor belongings to the Local Government, Saying it happened during the days of his predecessor, Hon. Rabiu Sani.

He said it didn’t happen during his tenure as a Chairman but the tractor was captured in a handover note handed over to him.

The Chairman averred that all the necessary steps taken to retrieve back the missing tractor proved abortive due to the interference of power that be”.

The prime suspect in connection to the missing tractor could not be reached for comment as at press time.

However, it was reliably gathered that the State Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe waded into the matter by urging the management of Doma Local Government even before the coming of Arc. Usman as the Executive Chairman of the Council forgot the matter.

AKA Afro, according to a source said he was transferred from Doma during the hit of the missing tractor to Awe Local Government and Lafia North Development Area where he was currently serving.

The Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Sani Bawa when contacted recently directed our Correspondent to see one of the directors who was not on the seat when Universal Reporters visited the Commission headquarter in the State capital.

“I’m tired of that issue of Doma Local Government missing tractor unsettled me as the Chairman of this Commission”.

Only time shall tell what will be the outcome of the entire scenario which contravenes the civil service rules.

Universal Reporters, would recall, when contacted the immediate past Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development, and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aliyu Turaki declined to comment on the matter.

The prime suspect could not be reached for comment as at press time a series of calls and text messages sent to him could not be responded to.

Only time shall tell what the fate of the erstwhile Deputy Director Department of Agriculture Doma Local Government would be.
