Taroh Student Killed In Igbos/Hausas Yesterday’s Clash In Jos

A Tarok Student by name Jerry Mantim Binkur, was killed in the civil unrest in Jos between the Hausas and the Igbos. In statement signed by DSP, Durven Julius, the TAROSA President said that the Taroh Students mourn their comrade who was killed in yesterday’s Jos unrest.

It’s barely a year I got to know you, when you called to inform me that you will be vying for Tarosa national President, you later stepped down to support other candidates. Only to find out this morning that we lost you (Cmrd. Jerry Mantim Binkur 400L computer science student of Unijos) owing to yesterday’s occurrence. On behalf of TAROK students association Plateau state University Bokkos I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Mr Mantim Binkur, Tarosa UNIJOS, University of Jos, TAROK Nation and Plateau state as a whole , please accept my condolences and may his soul and the souls of the departed rest in peace (Amen)
