The President of Langtang South Community Development Association, Mr Lohnan Samson, has urged the government to intervene and unlock the key potentials of the council as he described the official launching of “The History of Langtang South “by Jerry Samson Mantim as timely to help unlock the council.

Speaking during the official launching at the Fox Hotel, in Jos on Saturday, Samson applauded the book writer for his visionary research and policy documentation in gathering raw materials that can help promote the rich culture of the people of Tarok speaking natives of Bantu in Central Africa.

He disclosed that at least 178 villages will benefit from the book as a community. We are going to ensure that people embrace it and use it to make adjustments where knowledge is lacking.

According to him, the book is currently undergoing a process of reviewing, but if he had been consulted from the beginning, the Title of the Book would have been, “Toward the history of langtang as it is not finally adopted, disclosed by the book review.

He stated that there are so many areas of corrections to be made, proposing that the title is “The Journey toward the history of Langtang South people.”

Lohnan Samson sincerely appreciated one of the founding fathers of Langtang South LGA, Dr Nandul Durfa, whose positive thoughts and contribution in the book.

He noted that the overall idea was that of Dr Nandul Durfa, who wrote the book, Mantim Samson, brushing the challenges of road, insecurity, and perennial water scarcity of the people of Langtang South LGA.

Samson stressed that he so much appreciate the impact of the book at a critical time like this, with the desire to bring in development to reach all the nooks and crannies of Langtang South villages.

He described Dr Nandul Durfa as the pragmatic leader and the people’s general of the Tarok people with numerous contributions towards transforming the lives of citizens, especially our vulnerable communities across the length and breadth of Langtang South.

Samson disclosed that one cannot talk about the creation of Langtang South LGA without mentioning Dr Durfa by appealing to younger generations to emulate him.

He encouraged the upcoming Tarok Youth to always listen to the advice of their elders by admonishing them to shun social vices capable of destroying them and focus on meaningful development.

Lohnan pointed out that the youth must learn to imbibe the culture of tolerance, hard work, and leave faithfu lives style demonstrated by their elders in council.
