SWAN 2023 Election: National Triennial Delegates Congress To Hold In July, 2023

The Leadership Of National Triennial Delegates Congress  election of  there new members  into the National Executive Committee of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has been rescheduled to July 11th to 14th, 2023.

The Election was postponed due to the  Muslim festival of Eid- el Kabir which coincided with the earlier advertised date that was decided by the Members of SWANECO and the National Executive Committee as well as aspirants for various offices  which arrive at Tuesday 11th of July, while statutory delegates and the screening of  the SWANECO Candidates are expected to be hold on Wednesday July 12th, 2023.

Final results of the elections will be announced on Thursday July 13th, 2023 and manifesto by candidates aspiring to the various offices.

The elected officers into the National Executive Committee and Swearing-In to be hold on Friday, July 14, 2023, while departure from the venue on Saturday, July 15th, 2023.

SWANECO regrets the delays experienced in the electioneering process as a result of the general elections that hold in the country, fasting periods, the postponed National Population Census, and the forthcoming Swearing-in of the elected government officials, among others.

Further details of the timetable and any other developments on the Triennial Delegates Congress will be made known in due course.

The Congress is scheduled to take place at the Krisdera Hotel, Omoku, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
