Suspected Boko Haram Member Who Try To Bomb And Blow The Only Bridge Linking Tafawa Balewa And Bogoro, Apprehended By The Residents

A Suspected Boko Member was yesterday arrested and beaten to pulp by residents of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area when he attempted to bomb and blow the only bridge linking Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Area.

According to residents, they told this medium that it all started when some people were at the river bathing and washing and they noticed some unusual behavior and lo and behold it was someone with a bomb that he was trying to bomb the bridge.

However, luck ran out of his way, the residents descended on him, and the he was beaten blue and black.

While he was being beaten by the people, he confessed that he is a member of Boko Haram that he was sent to come and blow the bridge so that when they come to attack Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro people cannot come to rescue them.

According to him, he said Boko Haram members are hiding inside the bush near Tafawa Balewa, even as he said that this group has been sending their members always to come spy Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro as they have been planning to attack Tafawa Balewa.

However, the Police came to his rescue and he was taken to the State Police Command Headquarters, for further interrogation.
