The Presidential Aspirant of People Democratic Party ,(PDP) ahead of 2019 ,Former Minister of State, Hon Kabiru Taminu Turaki has said ,the All Progressive Congress ,APC , had failed all its electioneering campaign promises to Nigerians of protection of lives and properties to the incessant killings by herders  and Boko Haram insurgents.

 

Turaki stated this to the party faithful while seeking to solicit for delegates votes ahead of PDP primaries that can produce the next candidate to oust President Muhammadu Buhari in Jos.

 

He disclosed that APC can’t provide the citizens security because they don’t have concern to the plight of Nigerian who are killed in Adamawa ,Plateau, Benue ,Kogi ,Kebbi ,Zamfara ,Taraba and Kaduna states.

 

According to him ,they APC promised that the former Military leader is the right person but he has failed salvage the plight of Nigerian from farmers /herders clashes because nobody has been arrested and brought to book since this government came on board.

 

He express worried that these people will videos tape themselves perpetrating all manner of crime and sent their video to security but no single arrest so that show clearly they are not ready to confront them.

 

Kabiru Turaki accused President Muhammadu Buhari of deploying over 30,000 security personnel to monitor Ekiti state gubernatorial elections to protect the votes rather than protecting vulnerable Nigerian in the villages.

 

He stresses that nobody is safe today in their  homes ,kidnappers are all over and Niger Delta boys ,Massops ,South East ,Herders clashes rampaging in Middle Belt and some states in the North and they are threatening to go by the Igbo’s since the amalgamation of this country in 1914 there has never been all this agitation at all.

 

He described his visit to Plateau state as a home coming having spent all his youthful days and went to University of Jos assured Plateau citizens revamping the marabout industries if given the mandate to address unemployment problem facing the country.

 

Turaki maintained that ,Nigeria have economic where the world was rushing to come and invest but all these investors left the show of this great country owning to insecurity ,youth restiveness this is a situation where most of them are very hungry and helpless .

 

He called on the electorates to use the PVC very well to vote out everyone especially the APC government who are shamelessly using lies to mislead Nigerians.

 

Kabiru Turaki added that the government is paying lips service on Boko Haram issue the presidency is paying money and they are regrouping to use the money given to them to fight Nigerians.

 

 

He pointed out ,”these group ambush soldiers and killed many so we are drowning under the leadership president Buhari yet they remain committed to hunting our leaders who use campaign funds as great injustice .

 

Responding, The state Chairman of the PDP, Hon Damishi Sango assured the presidential aspirant of the state readiness to work with a credible candidate who know Nigeria very well.

 

We are prepare for this forthcoming elections but the big issue is that here on the Plateau state the Governor Simon Lalong is surrounding himself with inexperienced people are the lack knowledge of the security management.

 

Sango explained further that the recent attack on the Governor Simon Lalong was unacceptable to any reasonable leader but this go to show that many citizens are hungry.

 

Adding, we are not supporting their action but quick to condemn the security team that led to the unfortunate incident.

 

He assured that with the pockets of challenges in PDP at the end of the day we shall take concrete decision that will move us forward, we have to bring someone who verse and well-grounded with the situation.
