Some Forms Of Irregularities In Npower Programmes That Need To Be Addressed Particularly In My State, Bauchi

Sir, I sincerely wish to forward complaints about the irregularities in the N-power which is an innovative means to enhance ailing public services system. N-power Focus areas are: Teaching, Health, Agriculture, Vocational, Technology, Community Service, Post Production and Animation.

Sir, I don’t think N-power officials are much serious about this programme because the way the programme is going has contradicted the initial advert giving by the Federal Government.

This is because the advert made by Federal Government was that the programme is created to alleviate poverty and the tension of unemployment in Nigeria which is called N-power. And this programme will be a palliative investment programme which the fund to be used in running this programme will come from the N500b fuel subsidy gain quarterly.

While the programme would absorb 500 thousands graduates, 100 thousands beneficiaries will come from diploma and O’level citizens for N-knowledge and N-build. But why is it that no selection has been made on the other focus areas?

Yet, even those that have started collecting their allowances are not paid on regular basis. Some received triple alerts, some two, some, once and some have not yet received any.

Even though, the government has to be commended for the well done job and the people of Nigeria are perpetually grateful for this.

But we also demand that the federal government should quickly address all forms of irregularities that surround the N-power programme. It will look funny that some N-power beneficiaries were paid three months while others are paid only a month and some are yet not paid even a month.  (MK FORMULA… npower complains…)
