The Member representing Gamawa Constituency in Bauchi state (APC) Hon Mohammed Garba Gololo has received a no confidence vote from members of his community over US alleged Sex scandal.
A Press statement issue by the voices of the masses (Muryar Talaka) Gamawa LGA chapter, Bauchi signed by the Chairman Comrade Kassim Abubakar Gamawa made available to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, said as part of the outcome of the meeting held at Gamawa Central Primary School on Jul 15 , 2016 5:00AM at the end we came out with the resolution to pass a vote of no-confidence to the member in question.
Kassim said, “while considering the gravity of the allegations which is causing humiliation to the people of his constituency, the group had earlier demanded that the alleged member Gololo must come to his constituency and explained to clear himself off the sex scandal allegation hook”.
“But unfortunately the member Hon Gololo failed to honour the invitation by making a mere unnecessary clumsy excuse of a security threat”
Ibrahim said the group is facing a lot of face-off confrontations and intimidation by some unpatriotic citizens that are greedily loyal to the member in question, that they should give-up and relent on the effort of charging the member’s attempted sex allegations.
He said the Group is firm and relentless on its efforts of testing the veracity of the allegations and is therefore calling the National Assembly Committee that is responsible to be objective, fair and uncompromising.
The chairman of the group urged the Committee to release the outcome of the report as quickly as possible to enable the constitution take proper stand on the member.
It could be recalled that US Ambassador, in a letter dated June 9, 2016, addressed to Speaker Dogara, alleged that three members of the House namely: Hon. Mohammed Garba Gololo (APC, Bauchi), Hon. Samuel Ikon (PDP, Akwa Ibom) and Hon. Mark Gbillah (APC, Benue) had, on a recent visit to the United States for the International Visitor Leadership Program, brought disrepute to the parliament by soliciting for sex from prostitutes and grabbing hotel housekeeper in a bid to rape.
