Senator Al-Makura Extend Olive Branches To Constituent’s, Distributed Grinding Machines, Generating Sets

The Senator Representing Nasarawa South Senatorial Zone,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura in fulfillment of his campaign covenant to his constituents in Lafia/Doma/Awe/Keana/ Obi has distributed grinding machines and generating sets  to 100 beneficiaries.

The empowerment was given to 100 members of his constituents; the immediate governor said the items distributed were meant to bring succor to the hapless in his senatorial district.

Senator Al-Makura explained that the items were part of his zonal intervention for his constituents, especially those in dire need of support.

Al-Makura averred that the best option is to empowered constituents instead of given cash and foodstuff to people,he maintained that  providing them with items that would enable them make a living.

According to him, the grinding mills will go a long way to boost the economy of households of the women beneficiaries.

Al-Makura while distributing the items explained that he would initiate various empowerment programmes that have direct impact on his constituents.

The Senator representing Nasarawa south senatorial district said tackling poverty and restiveness are some of his agenda

“As your senator i assured you that I will impact on your lives as much as a senator like I did during my tenure as a governor for two consecutive times”.

Mr Isa Mahanga while responding buttressed that the hands of fellowship by Al-Makura was a justification of their mandate to the senator.

Stating that the beneficiaries would use the items for the purpose they were meant for.
