The Former President Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and two-time Governor of Kwara State, Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has vowed to bring an end to the challenges of North Central insecurity if given the mandate .
He stated that ,”it is only the sons and daughters of the North Central zone of Nigeria that can fix the challenges of insecurity in the affected states of Plateau ,Benue ,Kwara ,Niger ,FCT and Nasarawa states .
Sen.Saraki canvas for the support of all the North Central states to give him the overwhelming mandate as delegates to enable clinch the forthcoming primaries of PDP for presidential seat .
According to him ,”I challenge you all delegates to the PDP presidential convention to join hands and ‘fix Nigeria’ by voting me to win the Party’s presidential ticket which I can secure the zone .
Adding it is time for the people of North Central zone to take over the mantle of leadership in Nigeria .
The presidential aspirant was in Jos ,the Plateau state capital to seeking for the PDP delegates be part as he embark tour of the country to meet with the PDP national delegates, ahead of the convention which is scheduled to hold 27-28 of May, 2022.
Saraki, who regretted the state of infrastructure around the country, expressed worry about the insecurity and weathering thread of unity in the country, saying his ‘fix Nigeria’ presidential philosophy is a paradigm to restore the old glory of the country in which economic stability and inclusive politics made the country truly the giant of Africa.
The former Senate President, who arrived the Yakubu Gowon International Airport, Heipang, at about 2pm, paid a courtesy call on former Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang, at his Du home in Jos south, before he was accompanied to the party secretariat by the State party Chairman, Chris Hassan.
