Former Plateau State Governor, Senator Dr. Joshua Chibi Dariye, has offered heartfelt condolences to the Gbong Gwom Jos and the State Chairman, Council of Chiefs and Emirs, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CFR, over the passing of his elder brother, Yaro Bot Davou.
In a condolence message, Senator Dariye described his demise as a monumental loss not only to the royal father, the State Council of Chiefs, Jos South and Plateau State, but the country at large.
He eulogized the deceased for his efforts in offering wise counsel to the younger generation, noting that his enduring legacies of hard work, dedication, and truthfulness would continue to be cherished by all.
SSenator Dariye observed that the deceased, having attained the ripe age of 95, was highly regarded as a disciplinarian, an epitome of wisdom, and a source of family history. He maintained that Yaro Bot Davou had left an indelible footprint in the sands of time.
The former Governor equally condoled the immediate family of the Gbong Gwom Jos, the Du Community, and the entire people of Jos South Local Government Area over the great loss.
On behalf of his family, friends, and political associates, Senator Dariye prayed for the repose of his soul and fortitude to the entire family to bear the irreparable loss.
