Secretary Of Jos North LGA Commends Lalong For Building Confidence On People Of Plateau

The Jos North Local Government Council Secretary, Hon Shehu Usman has disclosed that thousands of youths have been engage in vocational and skills acquisition training by the Jos North Local Government council to reduce unemployed Nigerian rate in the labour market.

According to him, about 900 graduates in Jos North who qualified for N-power programme of federal government has been given their primary place of assignment which many of them are now receiving their monthly allowances.

He commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong led government for the award of roads construction in Angwan Rogo, West of Mines and its Environs.

Usman disclosed this during an interview with some session of journalists at the council secretariat of Jos North Local Government Area.

He explained that the reason for the developmental strides being recorded in Jos is as a result of all inclusive government of Governor Lalong to allow even development across tribes, religion and communities enjoyed dividend of democracy.

He pledged government commitment to transform the state capital to an enviable position where youth’s restiveness would be addressed.

Hon Usman cautioned against youths engaging in other social vices that is capable of ruining their tomorrow but task them to be useful to themselves and their immediate community.

He stressed that the ongoing road constructions in Jos north is clear mandate of Lalong fufiling his electioneering campaign promises to the state because it was one the ideas during the campaign.

The secretary revealed that for decades the people of Angwan Rogo community have been cry to government that their people are abandoned and neglected by the past governments but you can see now they are celebrating the restoration of hope where people are jubilating for the flag off ceremony.

We are working very hard towards sustaining total peace in Jos north because people now enjoy permanent restoration of hope, we are celebrating the development across the council.
