SDP, PDP In Jigawa To Merge As Election Approaches

Governor badaru of jigawa state may be facing serious opposition in the state especially as the story of merger between SDP and PDP is being speculated across the State.

Sources close to government officials said the governor has been campaigning without any expenditure as many supporters of the ruling party have been complaining of financial problem from the government side.

It was gathered that Governor Badaru’s convoy in Kazaure and Yankwashi local government were stoned along Dandi and Ganguli quarters of Kazaure town.

Since that day the number of supporters has reportedly diminishes, due to lack of confidence on him to win the election.

Investigation conducted by UNIVERSAL REPORTERS shows that plan is under way between the two parties in Jigawa to remove APC at the polls in March.

It was gathered that this situation has forced many politicians within the APC to use political thugs in harassing and intimidating people during campaign.
