A clash between two rival Sarasuka groups has left one person dead, in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau state.

Usman Musa, was cut on the web of brutal attacks on Wednesday night stabbed to death as rival groups, popularly known as Sarasuka clashed in the Anguwan Rogo community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The incident occurred at about 9:pm when many residents of the area were still outside where a  21-year old was stabbed to death as rival groups clash in the Jos community.

Our correspondent who was at the scene witnessed the incident gathered that the victim was stabbed on his neck when one of the rivals stormed the area in revenge for the previous clashes.

Abba Musa, an elder brother to the deceased confirmed the incident as a brutal attack, adding that Usman was a victim of circumstance as he was never a member of Sarasuka or a rival group.

He said: “The victim just went out of the house when suddenly he met with the culprits who were on mission revenge in the area. Apart from him (deceased), they also wounded other passersby who they met when they arrive in the area.”

The spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Ubah Gabriel on the development, didn’t respond to the calls and SMS from our medium.

But our correspondent who was in the area reports that police personnel was deployed to restore law and order in the community.
