The Managing Director explained that they face multiple challenges attached to the rainy season “we are collaborating with local government councils and self-help groups in the exercise to overcome the issues of annual flooding in the state.

According to him “we divided the states into zones. We started from Dutse zone, this is in order to speed up and ensure the effective operations”.

He noted that “we started from Dutse, the capital city where we undertake drainage and refuse clearance. We followed with the mosquito spreads in some areas. From there we moved to Babura, we did the same and now we are in Gumel”

“Though before then we did at Guri, Auyo, and Hadejia local government areas. We evacuated a total of 308 truck trips in Hadejia, 98 trips in Auyo, and 76 trips in Guri local government areas”.
