An All Progressive Congress, APC, Aspirant for Jos North /Bassa Federal Constituency, Alh. Sadiq plaza has congratulated the new speaker Rt. Hon. Yakubu Sanda also commended members for the display of maturity.
In a press statement, he said on behalf of myself, family, friends, and well-wishers heartily felicitated with Rt. Hon. Yakubu Sanda on his emergence as the news Speaker of the Plateau state house of Assembly.
He said,”Your emergence as first among equals, did not come to us as a surprise, considering your giant strides, calmness, experience, determination, wisdom as well as being a pro masses advocate and a true party loyalist”.
According to him, as you assumed this new responsibility, it is our hope and prayers that you will continue to work closely with the Honourable Members of the House to bring laws & legislation that will better the lives of the citizens.
More so, that the change of leadership is coming shortly after our father the rescue team Leader Rt. Ho. Dr Simon Lalong has submitted the 2022 budget proposal, it is our hope that the proposal will be given speedy passage so as to enable the executive arm to consolidate on the good work it has started.
I also commended and appreciate Our amiable Governor Simon Lalong, for being the first to sign the Autonomy of both the House of Assembly and the Judiciary in the state.
However, I will also use this opportunity to congratulate the good people of Bassa local government council for having the first speakership position in the history of Plateau state.
I am happy to be associated with this laudable achievement, which belief will afford the plateau citizens the opportunity to tap more from the hospitality, accommodating habits, wisdom, and leadership quality of the people of Bassa local government council.
Therefore, building a greater and united Plateau requires the support and prayers of all and sundry.
