In line with the present Imo State Government’s bid towards the restoration of sanity in the State, the ENTRACO GM, Sir. Dr.MacDonald Ebere has as part of the partnership met with the NURTW Chairman, Hon.Samuel Ukwenga Udeh Ezeumuokorobia in Owerri.
The duo in the meeting vowed to strengthen Imo’s economy, restore sanity amongst road users.
Speaking, the General Manager of ENTRACO, Hon.Sir.Dr.MacDonald Ebere, expressed satisfaction to partner with the leadership of the Imo NURTW Chairman, Hon.Samuel Ukwenga Udeh, aka Ezeumuokorobia.
In his words, the ENTRACO GM,Ebere, received the Chairman of Imo NURTW Chairman, Hon. Samuel Udeh, said, “Now that a core unionist has emerged as the Chairman of NURTW, the members of ENTRACO shall work in synergy by moving into action”.
“As ENTRACO in Imo, we are working for the rapid growth of the state. We are poised to transform the state as a Commission as enshrined by law. We are working under Governor Hope Uzodinma’s directives. Our target is to better the state and make Imo become the most decent state in Nigeria. Infact, I am okay and satisfied partnering with Imo NURTW”, Dr.Ebere disclosed.
Responding, the Imo NURTW Chairman State Chairman,Hon. Samuel Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia), expressively promised to deliver on his mandate as the Union Chairman.
“I came to ENTRACO to fortify our working relationship aimed at upholding sanity amongst road users. We want ENTRACO to work in synergy with NURTW to make our state and our Government proud. Days are gone when members of the union are seen as touts. We have redefined the union and we are ever ready to uplift the State”, Udeh noted.
The Imo NURTW Chairman, Ezeumuokorobia, revealed that the operators of buses as drivers in Owerri Metropolis would be on constant sensitization and awareness on the need to adhere to traffic.
Hon.Udeh, therefore vowed to strengthen all the leadership policies of the Shared Prosperity Government led by Governor Uzodinma whom he described as a God sent to govern the state.
Hon.Udeh’s familiarization visit to the GM of ENTRACO recorded a huge success as some members of NURTW in Imo who accompanied the union leader expressed delight to associate themselves with the Commission’s GM.
The successful meeting held last Wednesday, Sept.29th 2021, at the palatial residence of the ENTRACO GM in Owerri.
