Renewed Killing In Plateau, 70 Year-Old ,Family Massacred In Jos By Yakubu Busari,Jos

No fewer than three people feared dead and one other injured in Kwi and Rim villages of Riyom local government area of Plateau state. Two men were also killed in same   Kwi at about 8pm on Sunday while that of Rim occurred in the early hours of Monday and a woman lost her life in the attack.
Confirming the incident at Rim, the House of Assembly Member representing Riyom constituency and an indigene of Rim, Mr. Daniel Dem told universalreporters247.com that “a woman was killed this morning in my village.
“This thing is really getting out of hand, the villagers are living in fear and most have fled their homes. It needs to be urgently addressed so the people can return to their houses.”
However, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abuh Emmanuel who confirmed the Kwi attacks said, “We received information one Bitrus Yohanna who told the DPO that at about 20:00hrs, Fulani herdsmen in large numbers invaded Kwi through Barkin Ladi.
“They shot and wounded his father, Yohanna Pam and he is now on admission in Damulak Private Hospital. He is responding to treatment. Shot and killed are Sunday Madugu, 60 years and Ezekiel Yakubu, 22 years.
“The two corpses have been buried and one AK 47 recovered at the scene of the incident. No arrest has been made but investigation is in progress.”

It would be recalled that there has been series of attacks in Riyom villages since Saturday, many villagers have fled their villages in the Council and taking refuge in Riyom town, the Council headquarters.
