Rainstorm Wreaks Havoc In Plateau Community Destroys Houses Including Fertilizers Store House, Ogomo Pengana Cries out

At least several houses have been destroyed by rainstorm which follows with heavy rainfalls’ in Pengana District of Bassa Local Government Council of Plateau state.
The 4th Ogomo Pengana ,His Royal Highness ,HRH Esua Mamman Shayang has solicited the intervention of Plateau state and Local Government to come to their aides with renovation of destroyed fertilizers store house that was blown-off by heavy rainstorm sacking communities rendering people homeless.
He lamented that, of recent about 50 syndicate of suspected bandage in their group who specialize on highway armed robbery of attacking motorists recently invaded Jingir and its environs by terrorizing the Jos , Kaduna states road creating sleepless night .
Esua Mamman Shayang Ogomo Jere commended the government of Governor Simon Lalong for given him the privilege to serve his people after a kneeling contested election that brought him on board.
He described democracy as the best system of Government which had striven very well in the last 20 years although there are security challenges in the land which gradually been overcome but we also thank God Almighty that government are ensuing peace return and the sustainability in the system.
His Royal Highness has appealed to the people to cooperate with government to succeed in whatever ways towards providing us with the dividend of democracy.
According to him, the rainstorm which destroy houses has crippled this year farming season if urgent measure is not taken fertilizers will not reach farmers before the period of Farming.
He solicited the cooperation of council boss to provide alternative solution of moving their allocation from the headquarters in Rukuba to Jingir to ease transportation problems been faced by farmers.
He explained further armed robbery gang have took over disturbing people on high people causing panic following them house to house tasking them to give money foodstuffs .
Shayang appealed for collaboration between the Nigeria Police and Nigerian Army to help in curtailing their activities fish out those perpetrators to book.
He said, he is getting to one year in the thrown but up to now there is ongoing renovation at the palace which hinder him from moving the permanent site.
The Royal father applauded the peaceful coexistence being experienced in Pengana district were all the ethic tribes have agreed to leave in peace with one another in respective religious or tribal affiliation.
