Qatar, Inuwa Foundations Donate Motorcycles, Sewing Machines, Laptops To 500 People In Jigawa

No fewer than 500 persons, comprising men and women including persons with disabilities, have received various empowerment tools donated by the Qatar Foundation in collaboration with Mallam Inuwa Foundation in Jigawa State.
The Foundation is an initiative of Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA.
The presentations of the empowerment items were made at Inuwa Foundation Headquarters in Hadejia local government area of Jigawa State on Monday.
According to the Chairman of the Mallam Inuwa Foundation, Dr. Hussaini Yusuf Baba, 200 women were empowered with sewing machines, while another 300 received grinding machines.
“We also gave out three computers, 13 Carpentry tools and 13 motorcycles to some disabled persons.
“This is part of the foundation vision of supporting people especially the needy with the support of Qatar Cha.
