In recognition of long years of service, honesty, dedication, and excellence, the founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) in Nigeria and Niger, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has donated a house to one of the longest-serving security guards with two Universities, Malam Umar Mohammed Sanda.
Prof. AA Gwarzo who was visibly elated with the conduct of the security guard urged him to maintain the tempo noting that with such great attributes, the sky will be his stepping stone.

He said as an employer of labour, he will continue to pay a premium for honesty, integrity, dedication to duty, and excellence.
Presenting the keys of the house to Sanda on Wednesday, 21st June 2023, at the permanent site of MAAUN, Prof. AA Gwarzo said the recipient, who worked for the Universities in Niger and Nigeria for over ten years, was found to be sincere and honest throughout the period.
“On behalf of MAAUN Niger and Nigeria, I want to reward you with a house for your sincerity and honesty.
“I decided to give him a house in order for him to have a place where he can live with his family comfortably.
“I decide to promote him because he is a serious person who always minds his business and he stops where I ask him to stop,” Prof. AA Gwarzo said while presenting the keys of the house to Malam Sanda.
He, therefore, advised the recipient to remain honest, sincere, and hardworking wherever he finds himself.
Prof.AA Gwarzo also urged other staff working in the University and elsewhere to emulate Malam Sanda because according to him sincerity and honesty are the building blocks of success.
Responding, Malam Sanda expressed appreciation to the University and the founder for the singular gesture and prayed to God to reward him abundantly
