The present spate of hardship being experienced by Nigerians is an indication that politicians have failed to keep faith with their many promises to the people who voted them into office.
The traditional ruler of Auchi Alhaji Haliru Momoh Ikelebe III gave this indication at his palace when the PDP governorship candidates Pastor Ossgie Ize-Iyamu paid him a courtesy visit.
He said, “Politicians today have a difficult task as whatever we are going through is punishment for our actions in politics. Nigerians are responsible for the situation in our country and we all should take responsibility for how to get out of it”.
The Otaru who said the developments all over the world including Nigeria were actually signs of the end times when the creator would replace the present Heaven and earth with a new version.
“But I believe what is happening all over the world is that that the hour is coming when Heaven and earth will be no more and a new heaven and a new Earth or paradise of God will come forth”.
The Otaru also said that only Allah knows who between the PDP candidate Pastor Ize-Iyamu and that of the APC, Mr Godwin Obaseki would be the next governor of Edo state.
He concluded that only Allah knows the best he is going to put there and we enjoin him to put in the best. We pray that God sustain you during your campaigns”.
