Police Defuse Bomb Near Primary School In Jos By Yakubu Busari,Jos

Pandemonium broke out in  Kartako suburb of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state as   a bomb, was  reportedly planted near Tin City  Primary school .
The  plateau state police command anti -bomb unit deploy their team of expert to the scene  and  neutralized the explosive as students and parents were at school premises struggling  dispersed the children..
The device was defused on Thursday with disposal experts warning parents  that the fuse on the bomb had been lit, but it  went out before it could cause an explosion damage.
According to the police ,the homemade device could not be set off using remote control. It contained about one kilogram of explosives, was about 22 cm long and cylindrical in shape.
Early police investigations revealed that   the device was supposed to blow up the cash machine outside the school.
This is happening when the team of Police AIGs in the seven zones of the police formation are in an interface dialogue with the traditional and community leaders to chat a way forward to end violent clashes.

When contacted to ascertain the certainty of the news, the Police Public Relations Officer, Abu Emmanuel keep saying he was yet to be details of how the device defuse..
