Police Arrest 25 Year Old Man For Having Sex With Goat In Jigawa

The Jigawa state police command has arrested a 25-year-old boy for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a goat inside forest   Gwaram LGA of Jigawa State.

 

The police public relations officer Jigawa state command ASP, Lawan Shiisu, has confirmed the story

 

Shiisu said the suspect — whose name was not disclosed to newsmen was arrested at about 1 am by police operatives who were on patrol in a forest near Gwaram town.

 

The police spokesman of the command said the suspect, who is currently a resident at Kunnadi quarters, was arrested by the patrol team while allegedly having sex with the goat in a bestial act.

 

The arrest was made at about 0100hrs, by the police from Gwaram Divisional Headquarters, while on patrol in Gwaram area and its environs, arrested the  25-year-old boy of Kunnadi quarters, while having intercourse with a goat,” he stated.

 

The police spokesperson added that an investigation into the case is going on, after which the suspect would be taken to court to save as a deterrent to others.

 

 

 

According the police bestiality is a crime in Nigeria. Contrary to section 214 of the Nigerian criminal code act, the offence is punishable for a jail term of seven years imprisonment.
