The Plateau Youth on Friday staged a peaceful protest by endorsing the candidature of Peter Obi Ahmed Datti as the rally witnessed low turnout of the Labour Party supporters in the State.
The Director General. ,Amb. Yohanna Margif , Hon. Solomon Ndam appealed to all a sundry to support the candidature of Peter Obi in the forthcoming general elections despite the level of the plot to frustrate the electioneering campaign activities.
Solomon Ndam made this disclosure in an interview with our medium at the Rwang Pam Stadium venue of the rally, stressing the need for all supporters to close rank.
According to him, Amb.Yohanna Yilpwan Margif remains their sole candidate so we calling on Nigerian to wisely vote for Competence and credible leader in the person of Hon. Peter Obi /Ahmed Datti for president.
He frowned at the way and manner supporters’ groups were neglected and the resources meant for mobilization were hijacked and diverted for selfish interest.
Solomon said the campaign recorded low and poor compared to the middle belt endorsement rally, we saw governorship crises coming to an end because of the popularity of Amb Yohanna Margif in Plateau state.
He urged the organizers to put aside their selfish interests and released funds, however, the joy of every LP in Plateau and Nigeria is that Peter Obi recognized Dr.Dakum as the Governorship candidate of the party even when he knows that the matter is still in court.
He disclosed Margif will soon get back his ticket and that the case is pending as he has appealed the outcome of the judgment.
” .I plead with our supporters to be law-abiding as we are determined to deliver good governance to the people of plateau State.
We the Plateau Youth in politics across the middle belt States have endorsed the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party devoid of any internal wrangling as our decision remains unchangeable.
