Plateau Unity Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Dauda Choji Condemns Unprovoked Massacre In Bokkos Communities

The President of Plateau Unity Multipurpose Cooperative Society,(PUMCS) Mr Dauda Choji has condemned the unprovoked massacre of Bokkos communities by suspected unknown gunmen by calling on the appropriate authority to take proactive measure in preventing future happening.

Choji made this known during the celebration of Sallah in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau state.

He said,the monumental damage that led to loss of lives and properties of vulnerable communities called for federal and state government backing to fish out the perpertrators .

Choji also condole with the Governor Caleb Mutfwang and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for taking proactive measure to prevent further loss of lives in the Middle Belt States.

He lamented the killings of children and women by the unknown assailant by appealing to the leaders of Bokkos communities to form security survillance across their border areas.

However, the Sallah celebration brought together Muslims, Christians and traditional religious towards promoting peace coexistence amongst the diverse Ethnic nationalities resident in Plateau state and it’s environs .

Meanwhile,the National Patron of the Plateau Unity Multipurpose Cooperative Society ,Dr Isa Haruna enjoyed Nigerian to respect sanctity of lives .

He explained that the Sallah celebration is aimed at promoting the returned of peace and harmony ,we have been living together with one another so this occasion was organized to smooth the respect.

Alh.Dr Haruna admonished Nigerian leaders to introduce program that can help  to empower the poor of the poorest in our land instead of bringing political stakeholders to discuss .

He called on President Tinubu to take advantage of Plateau Unity Multipurpose Cooperative Society in sending relief materials to affected  Plateau communities .

According to him, the Plateau Unity Multipurpose Cooperative Society is sole responsibility is to fight common enemy which is hunger ravaging the Nigerian.

He emphasized on social justice to all asundry , that we can not progress if some of our fellow citizens are going to sleep without food .

Dr Isa pleaded with President Tinubu to carefully consider the hardship people are passing through and introduce measure that would address their suffering .

He noted that the main problem bedeviling the hike in food price is transportation which if the price control can solve it .

Dr Isa Haruna expressed satisfaction with the Governor Caleb and President Tinubu in handling the situation in Plateau State .

He used the occasion to appreciate Prof.Nentawe Yilwatda quick response to the attacks in Plateau state were over 100 women and children are killed in Bokkos LGA .
