The Plateau Debate Group is embarking on a project, The 2019 Governorship Debate, scheduled for January, 2019. The debate will be broadcasted live on PRTVC, conventional radio stations in Jos and some online radio outlets

 

The budget will enable us take care of all aspects of the debate; covering live streaming and broadcasts, hall renting, security, mobilisation, research, content development as well as general logistics.

 

We believe this initiative will seal the social contract between the eventual winner of the governorship election and Plateau citizens. This is because candidates will voluntarily and openly tell the whole world what they will do when elected into office, giving the people the burden of tracking the commitments during the life span of the administration.
