Plateau Pupils In Primary 1-4 Ranks Top Best Public Schools In Nigeria- Prof Sule

The Executive Chairman, of Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board, PSUBEB, Prof Mathew Nshim Sule has revealed that, Plateau state pupils from primary 1-4 classes of learning ranked top best public primary schools across the 36 states including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, on literary reading, diction writing, oral comprehension, listening compression and vocabulary in Nigeria.

Prof.Sule disclosed this during an interview with our correspondent at the Headquarters of PSUBEB, on Monday in Jos.

He disclosed that, “the national headquarters of SUBEB conducted training to some selected public primary schools in Nigeria were the state emerged top amongst the states which is an indication that there is total compliance to the schools time table curriculum “.

Matthew Sule thanked the electorate for given the Lalong government the second chance to accomplish the task of re-positioning the educational sector where he admonishes that his victory was for all ,victory in the aspect of development looking around they affirm him for better days ahead.

He said, the national monitoring body of SUBEB, has organized six pilot schools across the 3 senatorial districts to help affirmed the earlier report rating of public schools in plateau state.

According to him, the tempo of developmental strike would be maintain ,when the Governor promised to consolidate on his achievement ,it is very true that Governor Simon Lalong came with an agenda of transforming the state to an industrial sector where he is working hard to achieve that set goal and to pursue the realization of that agenda .

The university don ,stated that now before he achieve the set objective goal he has to consolidate on the gain that has been achieved but so far there are components that needed to be put in place which include those appointees assigned would work together to achieve ,he added.

He expressed satisfaction with the school’s enrollment of girls child in Plateau state under the present government, adding that there are improvement on the side of infrastructures when this regime came on board the issues of dilapidated furniture classrooms were procure and distributed to all the public primary schools.

Prof Sule reiterated that the PSUBEB bridge gap of enrollment of girls child in Plateau and that of the boys ,so we have achieve if you can check the significant number of them we can beat our chest to tell the world of Governor Simon Lalong achievement.

We have high population of pupils in primary schools so we work towards addressing the aspect of employing more teachers who now receive prompt payment of salaries and posting them to rural schools with numbers of vehicles ,supervisors and adequate learning lesson materials.

Governor Simon Lalong has improve on the standard of education in Plateau state, our public schools are doing better in national examination, he applauded the enrollment of schools, he noted.

Mathew also unveiled plan for children whose parents died or those living in IDPs to remedy their plight to provide free education so no child should be kept behind for his or her background of family poverty all are going to be given equal opportunity because the governor himself is a product of public schools.

Governor Lalong vowed not allow public schools to be dilapidated so he order for comprehensive time table to revitalize the inclusion of agriculture to make farming attractive to our young children as we are growing our children need to give priority to the sector, he explained.
