The State Executive Committee (SEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau State Chapter held its meeting, today, Monday, April 30. 2018 at the State Secretariat, No. 20/22,Yakubu Gowon Way..
RESOLUTIONS.
After an exhaustive deliberation of issues on the agenda, SEC resolved as follows.
- The party will organize a retreat for its executive committee, and members the national and state assemblies. State Working Committee was mandated to organize and communicate date for same.
- Pursuant to the provision of the new Party Constitution, which gives each State Chapter the opportunity of producing one additional member of the Board of Trustees member, SEC zoned same to the Southern Senatorial District considering the fact that both the Central and Northern Districts are represented.
- SEC also approved the appointment of two (2) physically challenged persons into the CAUCUS of the party in line with the Party’s constitution.
- THE Meeting also approved the zoning of the party’s governorship position to the southern zone for the purposes of the 2019 general elections.
Furthermore, the State Chairman. Hon D T Sango appreciated all members of the party for their support and sacrifices towards the success of the party. He was particularly thankful to members of the state and national assembles for being ever supportive.
The Minority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon Daniel Dem;, Rt. Hon John Bull Shekarau; Distinguishe Senator J T Useini; and Dstinguished Senator J D Jang, in their Good will messages, appreciated members for their steadfastness.
