For over three months now with political upheaval rocking the Plateau state chapter of the  PDP, the party is scouting for the replacement of Hon Amos Gombi as they are standing to see the action of National Executive Council,  NEC, meeting on final decision to chase away Hon Damishi Sango.

The Legal Adviser of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Plateau State Chapter, Barr. Bingchang Jangtur has given reasons why the Embattle Suspended Chairman of PDP, Hon Damishi Sango was kicked out of office as he added the ran the party secretariat like his block industry without due consultation with the state exco.

Jangtur who made this disclosure in Jos also stated that the constitution of the party is expressly clear under 2017 amended; the suspension followed due process of law to ensure that can’t be faulted.

According to him, as a legal adviser of the party in Plateau state, I believe that the exco view the excesses of the chairman who disbursed the campaign money without involving the party exco.

Jangtur emphasized that the constitution spelled out that we should extend the suspension of Sango to another one month which we have complied with but that of the Deputy Chairman, Hon Amos Gombi, we are looking for a replacement from Kanke Local Government Council to present to us a credible candidate.

He lamented that the State Executive Council SEC, has finally nailed Amos Gombi and he is just a floor member of the party, the party exco are the engine room of the party, we await disciplinary action on Sango soon.

Jangtur condemned the decision taken by the PDP chairman Hon Damishi Sango where he unilaterally denied the winner of Wase Rep adding that the Emir of Wase, HRH Sambo Haruna Abdullahi Wase didn’t deserve the party ticket.

He frowned at the involvement of traditional rulers into politics, as he said under Sango PDP went into the election without mobilizing the party structure owing to non-availability of funds.

Jangtur expressed satisfaction with the 3 panels of the justice who is performing credibly well in the trial of Bago, Esther Dusu and Hon Beni Lar where they have withdrawn cases against is a plus to PDP.
