Plateau NUJ Chairman Inaugurates Newslink Chapel With 11 Members

The Plateau state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Plateau state council, Mr Yakubu Taddy has inaugurated Newslink chapel with functional eleventh membership strength with one female.

Following the inauguration of the baby chapel of Newslink, it has its Chairman Taiwo Sunday, Alex GIWA. Treasurer, Christian Tok ,Micheal Agada  vice chairman, Linus Mantem Linda Ngungwan Uban ,Jimenda Gideon David ,Dominick Agbebullam ,Luka Maigari as members.

Yakubu Taddy cautioned them against plagiarism and misleading reportage that is capable of promoting humanity, stressing that every media is very important.

He said the people have not been talking to common people but talking to them because Nigeria constitution permit freedom of expression only NUJ are allowed in the constitution.

He employed the Newslink to go for news items and write features, analyses of national issues to build confidence on the people.

Taddy said the coming of Newslinks on board will add many value to the professionalism because one of the must qualify chapel on the Plateau state.

He commended them for meeting the require credentials to practice because they are professionals who have all the discipline training.

Taddy advised them to attend meeting and build relationship with other colleagues in the state chapel .

According to him, following official channel to pay there people online journalism is seeing as a threat so I don’t. Want to be call that their bad reportage from Newslink .

Taddy vowed to deregister any defaulting member who abuse the professional ethnic of the field ,we need ideas to run the council and address issues we have to tolerance each other.

Responding on behalf of Newslink , Mr Taiwo Sunday applauded the chairman for coming to inaugurate their members after going through challenges .

He promised to abide to the constitution of NUJ and cannot derail from the guideline of the field by focusing on attract reader across the country.
