Plateau HoS ,Barr. Rauta Dakok Charges Civil Servants To Continue To Support Caleb Mutfwang Administration

The Plateau State Head of Service Barr.Rauta Dakok has urged the people of the state to continue to support and promote the peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse tribes, and religions by challenging the civil servants always to put in their very best towards accountability and transparency in governance.

She disclosed how Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration handles the payment of monthly arrears, pension, and gratuities of Pensioners and retirees in the state.

Barr Dakok made this known during the Plateau State ministerial press briefing held at the Ministry of Education conference Hall, Joseph Gwomwalk Secretariat.

Office of the Head of Service said they have disbursed 300 naira monthly arrears of pension, and gratuities as part of the campaign promises made to the electorate 

Hon. Barr. Rauta Dakok, explained further that her office obtained the approval for the release of Three Hundred Million Naira (N300) monthly to offset and settle arrears of pensioners, their gratuities as well as death benefits from 1986 till date.

According to her,” this is the very first-time civil servants under the administration of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Labour Union and Heads of MDA’s had a workshop to educate and sensitized workers on   smooth working relationship. 

She also recounted the achievements, challenges, and prospects of the Office of the Head of Civil Service as well as building confidence amongst the workers and management in the state civil service rule.

She equally appreciated the people of Plateau State for their overwhelming support given to the Time is Now Administration of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang to succeed

Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs commended the present administration of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang inherited N4.6bn salary and pension arrears from the previous administration at the LGC level but is happy to announce that so farN1.7bn Primary Teachers arrears has been cleared.
