Plateau Govt. Secure Befitting Accommodation To Hajj

Plateau State is losing 325 out of the initial 1,625 seats allocated to the state to this year’s hajj, State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board Executive Secretary Alhaji Salisu Musa, has said.
Musa, made  disclosure, at a press briefing in Jos, as he said that the cut in seats was as a result of the global 20% reduction of intending pilgrims to this year’s hajj owing to construction work going on in the Holy Mosque of Ka’a at Makkah.

The ES, explained that after their meeting in Abuja with the National Hajj Commission it was agreed that any intending pilgrim that have once performed hajj is automatically disqualified, adding that priority will be giving to those “new timers, even they have to undergo thorough screening, by the Ulama screening committee, and any one that does not now his religion and the tenets of hajj will not be allow to go.”
According to him the board is lucky to found that less 50, out of those that have deposited were old timers, stressed those only welfare officials, Ulamas, and medical workers that have once performed hajj will be allowed to go.
He debunked speculations, that the board will charge intending pilgrims some amount of money for the screening excercise, “it is free of charge,” warned that any official found cheating intending pilgrims will be made to face the wrath of the law.
“The Saudi Arabian Government had reduced the number by 20% for all countries of world,” he said.” To avoid stampede during Dawaf at Holy Ka’aba in Makkah, due to an ongoing construction work taken place.”
He added that while 20% was reduced for the countries, the Saudi Authority have reduced the number of its nationals by 50%.
He said that his board is taken care of the issue of muharam, so that no intending pilgrim from the Female folk is affected, “we are also take other measures on the issue of guarantors to avoid absconding of pilgrims, while at Saudi Arabia.
In a preparation to the airlift Secretary of Muslims pilgrim welfare board Alh. Salisu Musa, said plateau state government under the Dynamic leadership Governor Jonah David Jang has concluded arrangement for adequate accommodations for the intended this year hajj.
He added that they are taking all the necessary measures to ensure that if anyone trying to cheat before entering into pilgrim I s caught, he will be shown the exit door and taken to court.

Musa warned all the intended pilgrims most be well branded in the knowledge of Islamic , failure to pass all the necessary tests you are not a Muslim so you are not allowed to visit the holy land.
