Plateau Central Senatorial District Aspirant Of ADC Manasseh Watyil Promises Farmers succour, If elected

An Aspirant for the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Plateau Central Senatorial District, Hon. Manasseh Zakka Watyil has called on the electorate to vote for his party as the alternative in addressing the major challenges of insecurity bedeviling the state and country at large, operating people-oriented programs that can provide them with the dividends of democracy, if given the mandate come 2027.
Watyil disclosed during an interactive session with our medium in Jos on Tuesday.
He emphasized that farmers in the state have continued to suffer from the challenges of insecurity, which denies them access to their farms, relegating them to the background, despite their immense contributions to the nation’s food baskets.
According to him, if elected, he desires to ensure that every farmer in Plateau Central geopolitical zone enjoys soft loans, goes through mechanized farming, dry season farming simulator to boost food security.
He reiterated the need for federal and state governments to subsidize fertilizers and encourage more participation of local farmers through a cooperative society network for them to enjoy.
Manasseh stressed out about the high level of poverty and absence of government presence in most rural communities, promising of assisting with tractors, Napsack spraying chemical.
He lamented that there is a problem of insecurity denying citizens and wreaking havoc, which denies farmers access to farms because of the prevailing insecurity, and there is no safe place in Nigeria anymore, so we need to upgrade our security apparatus.
We have to partner with the local security to provide relative peace for the rural community. If elected, he promised a good working relationship with stakeholders in promoting a harmonious relationship.
Watyil urged the government to harness the business potential of providing soft loans for the teeming youth group, as he assured that he would do so if voted into power, and also create job opportunities to ease idle minds.
He admonished that Nigeria has abundant resources to help the widows, orphan including vulnerable people, as he also promised them to increase the healthcare delivery through good legislation.
Watyil called on the electorate to vote wisely for him by coming out en masse because ADC is the only political party that can liberate them.
