Plateau Assembly Majority Leader Calls For Partnership On Issues Of  Nigeria/China Business Forum

The Majority leader a Plateau House of Assembly member representing Shendam , in the State House Of Assembly ,Hon Henry Yunkwap  on Wednesday 20th ,April ,2016 in Plateau state called for a partnership that would address the issues that influenced Nigeria economy with the China.

Yunkwap made this call  at the Plateau State House of  Assembly complex after an interactive session with the our reporter in Jos .

He said that in spite of the existence of a partnership  with the Europeans countries that couldn’t yield high impact interventions ,millions of Nigerians are still suffering .

Speaking of the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari and governor Simon Lalong , Yunkwap maintained that the nation as a whole under sixteen years of PDP regime was reeked of incompetence and regarded by the international community as a failed state.

“We score them average because something has gone wrong for 16 years, so you don’t expect someone to come and correct in one day” he added.

He said the administration made it a policy to continue with abandoned projects where past governments neglected .

Yunkwap advised that the problem of Boko Haram has been degraded now about one billion Naira is recovered by EFCC and many are now returning money into the government account.

According to him, the Assembly is working hard to revive the hope of the youths of Plateau in governance ,especially through enhanced job creation and lifting of ban on employment.

“The youths are hopeful that the presence of an effective industrialization would promote the state spirit of reconciliation among Plateau people”,he explained.

He appealed to citizens to exercise patience with the delay in passing the 2016 budget because it has to be scrutinized before proper approval by the house.
