Plateau APC Women Leader Mrs. Dangin Sues For Active Participation Of Women In Politics

The Plateau state women Leader, Mrs. Afniki Dangin has commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong for giving women privilege to active participation in political activities and good governance.

Mrs. Dangin stated this during the flag off of the sale of nomination forms to intended aspirants ahead of forthcoming Local Government election scheduled for 28th February 2018.

She disclosed that the All Progressive Congress, APC brought restoration to the present peace the state is currently enjoying under the leadership of the change mantra.

According to her, the restoration of peace on the plateau was considered as a welcome development from the women wing of the APC government but that they are still clamoring for more involvement of our members.

Dangin stressed that the past PDP was not gender friendly to them by allowing more women inclusion in political and electioneering campaign to sell their candidates but their male counterpart dominated key positions of authority.

Mrs. Afiniki  Dangin assured of clinching all the 17 local government in Plateau if they election would be free and fair by the opposition.

She appealed that Nigeria women should come out and seek for elective offices in the present political dispensation and liberate themselves from the shackles of poverty, men domination in politics.

Councillorship Aspirant of Abba Shehu ward of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state, Hon Ahmad Yahaya said if elected will contribute positively to the development of the change mantra.

He said if given the mandate the legacy to remember is health care delivery, sanitation and quality education in Abba Shehu ward which is considered as a flash point of crisis.

Yahaya solicited the cooperation of the people of Jos north to shun all social verses and focus on rebuilding love, understanding among citizens.
