The Plateau All Progressives Congress, APC, the crisis has deepened over who is the authentic chairman of the ruling party, as Hon ishaya Itse gave the Hon . Rufus Bature Exco is warning the threat of moving the headquarters from Kawal House at Zarmaganda to Hill station junction by next week’s ultimatum deadline .
Itse stated in a statement made available to our medium in Jos , North Local Government Council of Plateau state on Wednesday.
He said,” I advise the party exco and stakeholders to do the needful by complying with some of the issues discuss towards resolving the crises by the party sharing formula reached.
Ishaya Itse still claims to be the only person that bought the party form to contest for the seat of APC Chairmanship in Plateau state but to his surprise none of those parading themselves as the party exco purchase any of that party form “.
He reiterated that , it was only himself and other aggrieved members of APC that follow the stipulated guidelines to obtain the party forms, we didn’t know when and where Rufus Bature and his Exco were screened and where he bought the form.
We had the arrangement to share position but up to now Rufus Bature jettisoned it and they are disrespectful to the party constitution so we stand to call on our ardent supporters that we shall move the APC headquarters from the present location to Hill station junction for convenient ahead of 2023 polls .
According to him ,the use of security agencies to intimidate and harass him and his Exco might spell doom to the APC supporters ahead of the forthcoming general elections in Plateau State because we have adequately briefed our citizens on the need to follow the guideline.
The embattled factional chairman raised serious political abysmal betrayal and lack of internal democracy if they’re not followed might affect the APC progress owning few individuals hijacking the party structures, he said.
