It is like a twist of faith in the Plateau State Chapter of the People Democratic Party with long awaiting drama eschewed by the aggrieved members as the reliable sources within the party are gripped by fear and uncertainty.
The situation has degenerated into several conflicts from the stakeholders, elders, and aspirants of the party over unresolved court cases and Judgements ongoing issues, and some are already delivered against the party.
An aspirant to the Plateau State House of Assembly, PLHA, from the southern senatorial zone Hon Doemak Balla told our medium that he can only purchase form if the National headquarters sign an undertaking to refund him back his money in case the party fails to present candidates to vie for 2023 general elections.
However, it’s revealed that several Stakeholders and party faithful have resorted to grumbling with the inability to know the party’s faith.
“You would recall, the Sen. Jeremiah Useini group didn’t raise any objections to the rerun elections, which was conducted in Bassa/Jos North LGAs House of Representatives seat recently which signals ray of hope, but the unusual silence from the group and inability to withdraw the ongoing court cases has brought uncertainty to the party and its progress.
The coming days will surely be interesting for the party which seeks to flush out the ruling APC from the seat of power, with so much vested interest.
In the spirit of sportsmanship, some of the alleged crises were swept under e carpet to shift ground for the landslide victory for the by-election conducted in Jos North/Bassa Federal constituency seat.
According to political bigwigs within the PDP who express diverse views that they are ready to allow peace to reign, but insisted that the party must accommodate others not let a few take center stage of the hemp of affairs by creating unnecessary tension amongst stalwarts.
Besides this development, the PDP enjoys the spirit of zoning arrangement to ensure that each zone produces the governor of the state at little Rayfield, Government House but if the urgent step is not taken this ideology of building a strong structure would spell well.
