The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jos North local government of Plateau State, Hon. Aminu Abdullahi has said, Nigeria is worse under the leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC, as the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo might turn out worse than President Buhari, for misusing the market funds and the situation is not better after 7 years of governing this country.

He said there are no credible candidates in the ruling APC, contrary to the party’s bogus insinuation and claims, that those left in the failed party, who has crumbled the economics of Nigeria and other facets of the country, are looters of the public funds and impositions of candidates.

Aminu stated this in an interview with journalists in Jos.

He lamented how the APC-led government has bastardized the socio-economy of Nigeria since it assumed power in 2015 to date.

“Since the arrival of APC government in 2015 till date, so many things in the government went wrong, many hitherto ongoing projects initiated by PDP government by the last administration were deliberately abandoned, those are people-oriented projects which was started during the PeopleS Democratic Party (PDP) government led by David Jonah Jonah Jang, with the coming  APC, many abandoned projects are littered all over the state in particular, and Nigeria as a whole.

He gives an instance of road projects in some communities in the state which connected Gengere, Rikkos, and other Plateau North communities, which were started during the PDP administration, till this moment the projects are yet to be completed, it has been abandoned by the APC government in the state led by Governor Bako Lalong, which has brought untold hardship to the people residing in the area and its environs with health complications occasioned from the inhaling of dust from the abandoned road by APC government.

He said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has achieved a lot not only in Jos North but the entire Plateau and Nigeria in general.

Ahead 2023 General Election, the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also debunked the insinuation that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is the only party with credible candidates that can change the political, social-economic mess the party under the leadership of Mohammadu Buhari led government has committed during his tenure as president.

“When you go round the whole state, and in Jos North in particular you will see for yourself the achievement of PDP administration, the party started all the projects, but when APC came on board, they abandoned laudable  projects even when it has a direct bearing on the lives of the common man.”

“Those projects are not hearsay, you can feel them, and you can see them for yourself without too many explanations”.

He stressed that the PDP Senator representing Jos North constituency in the National Assembly I.D Jang has embarked on and completed many projects in the Constituency which are visible to everybody to see.

And further added that the Senator has built schools cut across the Constituencies,  sunk boreholes for many communities that have challenges with portable drinking water,  link many communities to the national grid, and provide electricity to many hitherto without electricity, clinic, and people-oriented projects across the Constituencies.

He added that the only PDP member in the state house of Assembly and a woman representing the Jos North  West, Hon. Esther Dusu has also made the people of his Constituency feel the impact of her representation in the Assembly within the shortest period she held sway in the house, as she has provided the Constituency with people-oriented projects.

Alhaji Aminu highlighted the failures of the Buhari led APC as he said the leadership of the party under Buhari is full of many deficiencies, set back, right from top to bottom stressed that since the party assumed office in 2015, some of the essential goods like eggs, Garri, and other foodstuffs skyrocket above the reach of the average man.

When the party came into power in 2015, the exchange rate was between 95-98 Naira to American Dollar, but after seven years of the APC government, a Dollar is almost 700 Naira to 1 dollar.

The Buhari APC government came on board with the mindset of borrowing with no motives behind the borrowing, today Nigeria is one of the most indebted countries in the world, so when you talk of progress, in what way, but they are claiming that they are progressing, but they are progressing to oppress the people of Nigeria.

He decried the absence of farm implements like fertilizer, even when the rainy season for the farming season is at hand.

” The Federal government said everybody should go to the farm, today everybody is crying, no fertilizer for farming as the price of the commodity is now between 15,000 Naira per bag

Aminu compared the period to the administration of PDP, during the period, the administration ensured the price of the commodity is strictly monitored and if anybody finds selling the commodity in an open market, the long arm of the law will be caught up with them as against the happening now under APC

He faulted the non-challant attitude of President Buhari who has not for one day gone out to see for himself what the people of Nigeria are going through.

I am not even sure that President Buhari knows what the people of Nigeria are going through under his government, he just sits at the presidential villa while lies are being told to him.

He debunked the insinuation that the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is the most credible candidate for the next president of the country as and said on the contrary Osinbajo is one of the country’s leaders that has misappropriated the country’s money under the quest of the so-called market money.

“If he can’t be able to handle the small responsibility given to him to oversee the disbursement of funds for poor market women let alone Nigeria as a whole.”

“They are there to loot public funds, impose people on others”

On the recent face-off in the party,  Alhaji Abdullahi said those members causing disaffection within the party are those whose second name is impunity.

They are those who don’t want things to be in the laid down rules and guidelines enshrined in-country constitution and the party constitution.

He said the party is for everybody irrespective of tribe, religion, and ethnic line.
