Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has opened up about her decision to undergo a non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedure as she unveiled her new appearance.
The actress and entrepreneur shared footage of the procedure on social media, showing her transformation before and after the treatment.
Prompt News reports Ogbodo disclosed that she opted for a combination of facial threads, fillers and PDO treatment to lift her face, restore volume and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
She explained that although she is comfortable with her natural features, she believes there is nothing wrong with enhancing aspects of one’s appearance that may cause discomfort or insecurity.
The actress said she prefers taking action to improve things within her control rather than complaining about them.
“I got me a new face! Because I can!
“Listen, I’m a woman who believes in one thing: If you don’t like it, change it!
“I’m not about to sit down and complain about something I have the power to improve. I love my face, I love myself, but babes, we can always upgrade!”
Describing the outcome of the treatment, Ogbodo said she was pleased with the rejuvenated appearance it gave her without having to undergo surgery.
“So yes, I went for my facial rejuvenation and baby, they understood the assignment!
“I had threads + fillers + PDO done to lift, restore volume, smooth out lines, and give me that fresh, youthful, well-rested look – without surgery!”
Ogbodo also used the opportunity to advise women considering aesthetic procedures to make safety a priority.
She urged them to seek the services of qualified medical professionals rather than opting for unverified practitioners.
“So my philosophy is simple:

“Want to enhance it? Enhance it.
“But please, do it with the right people!”
